How do you relax? Rutgers students are using poi dancing, also known as poi spinning, to help take the edge off the stresses of college life, while also improving focus and coordination.

Dance students got a chance to learn a new style of artistry from the Shen Wei Dance Arts company this winter. Known for choreographing the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Olympics, Shen Wei stresses the presence of the performer in a new way.

How do you feel when you dance? Rutgers students and staff say they escape their problems and feel free to be themselves in a ballroom dancing class offered by Rutgers Recreation. The class has taken off since it was first taught in 1976.
