President to offer fourth Annual Address to the University Community
All Rutgers faculty, staff, students, and alumni are invited to attend an address by President Richard L. McCormick at 1:10 p.m. Friday, September 15, in the Multipurpose Room of the Rutgers Student Center on College Avenue.
The president will deliver his fourth Annual Address to the University Community and take part in a question-and-answer session at the first University Senate meeting of the new academic year. A reception with light refreshments will follow.
President McCormick is likely to discuss:
- Efforts to advance Rutgers in a time of reduced state funding, including the Committee on Efficiency and Entrepreneurship
- Implementation of the Transforming Undergraduate Education initiative in New Brunswick/Piscataway
- Emerging academic programs throughout Rutgers
- Research and graduate programs
- Improving campuses and facilities.
Parking is available in the College Avenue deck and in lots 11, 26, and 30. Handicap parking is available in Lot 35, next to Stonier Hall and across from the Rutgers Student Center.
