WHEN: Friday, March 20, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
WHO:  World-renowned artist Faith Ringgold joins a distinguished panel of
archivists, artists, authors, lawyers, foundation heads and executors familiar
with the art world.
BACKGROUND: History is replete with artists, even the
most talented and prolific, whose heritage is lost forever when well-meaning
but uninformed friends and relatives discard important creative works and
documents. This free one-day seminar, sponsored by the Institute for Women
& Art at Rutgers and aimed at New Jersey artists working in all media, is
designed to help participants build and maintain their artistic reputations.
