Testimony Before the New Jersey Senate Committee on Higher Education (June 14, 2012)
To the Campus Community:
On Thursday, June 14, I had the opportunity to offer testimony before the New Jersey Senate Committee on Higher Education.
I invite you to read my prepared comments, which are posted at http://news.rutgers.edu/medrel/camden/testimony-of-rutgers-20120614.
Discussions about proposals to advance higher education in both our region and our state will continue to dominate media reports during the coming weeks. While we have much work ahead of us, I am optimistic that we will find solutions that serve the citizens of New Jersey, provide new resources to our campus, and preserve the strengths and values of Rutgers–Camden.
I will continue to keep you apprised of our progress. As always, thank you for all that you do on behalf of Rutgers–Camden.
