New HR Manager Named at Rutgers-Camden
For Immediate Release
CAMDEN -- Perrineville resident Linda Jewell has been named human resources manager at Rutgers UniversityCamden.
In this newly created position, Jewell will provide leadership in the areas of staffing recruitment, employee benefit programs, compensation, employee relations, and general training matters. Jewells arrival represents the first professional staff dedicated to serving the needs of Rutgers-Camdens 760 employees in more than a decade.
Prior to joining the Camden campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Jewell served as corporate human resources manager for the Foxtons real estate company. She also served as director of human resources for Monmouth University and Papel Giftware Manufacturers in Monroe.
Jewell earned her bachelors degree in secondary education from Rutgers-Camden in 1972. She has participated in such professional organizations as the Society for Human Resource Management and the College and University Personnel Association.
