Graduate Criminal Justice Open House at Rutgers-Camden on April 8

CAMDEN -- An open house for prospective students interested in pursuing a master’s degree in criminal justice at Rutgers University—Camden will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 8.
Prospective students will be able to meet with Rutgers professors and obtain information about the academic program, career options, admissions process, and financial aid opportunities available through the Rutgers graduate program.
Graduate classes in criminal justice are offered by The Graduate School at Rutgers—Camden, which provides master’s-level programs that serve the southern New Jersey region.
The master of arts in criminal justice program at Rutgers—Camden is designed for those seeking career opportunities or advancement in justice-related fields. Students take courses in public management and budgeting and acquire a broad understanding of the criminal justice system, including the analytic skills required to conduct and apply research and to assess public policy. Courses were developed in consultation with criminal justice practitioners in the southern New Jersey region, and offer a unique emphasis on public policy matters.
The nationally recognized faculty is multidisciplinary. Evening classes meet the needs of students who work or have other obligations during the day. Rutgers—Camden offers a joint-degree option for students wishing to earn a master of public administration (MPA) degree while pursuing their master’s degree in criminal justice.
