Rutgers-Camden SBDC to Offer Family Business Growth Program on May 20

CAMDEN --  A business growth program designed to help family-owned businesses in southern New Jersey will offered by the Rutgers—Camden Small Business Development Center in Mount Laurel during 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 20.

“Family Business Day:  A Program for Family and Closely Held Businesses” will examine such critical issues as business growth strategies, succession planning, and personnel management issues related to employees who also are family.

Sessions will be led by Reynold Cicalese, a shareholder in the accounting firm Alloy, Silverstein, Shapiro, Adams, Mulford, Cicalese, Wilson & Co., and Stevan Wolf of the Alternative Board of Southern New Jersey.  Mitchell Koza, dean of the Rutgers School of Business—Camden, will offer perspective on the importance of family business to the regional and national economies.

This intensive program is co-sponsored by the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and the New Jersey SBDC.  The event will be held at the Enterprise Center at Burlington County College, located at 3331 Route 38 in Mount Laurel.

The Rutgers—Camden Small Business Development Center provides free and low-cost services to new and potential businesses in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Salem counties.
