Rutgers Expo to be Held in Bordentown on Sept. 18

CAMDEN -- High school and county college students and their families will learn more about the many opportunities offered at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, during a special Rutgers Expo in Bordentown from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18.
Participants will meet with Rutgers professors and staff, speak with current Rutgers students, and learn about financial aid opportunities.
Rutgers, founded in 1766, is the eighth oldest institution of higher education in the nation. Today, Rutgers is New Jersey's state university and premier public research institution, enrolling more than 50,000 students across three regional campuses in Camden, New Brunswick/Piscataway, and Newark.
Rutgers offers more than 100 majors and 4,000 courses, and more than 100 bachelor’s, 100 master’s, and 70 doctoral and professional degree programs. Rutgers is one of only 62 research universities elected to membership in the Association of American Universities. In New Jersey, only Rutgers and Princeton are members in this prestigious organization.
The Rutgers Expo will be held at the Rutgers EcoComplex, located at 1200 Florence-Columbus Road in Bordentown.
