Rutgers Panel to Discuss 2008 Presidential Election
For Immediate Release
CAMDEN -- A panel of professors and activists will discuss the import of the 2008 presidential election during a free event at Rutgers—Camden at 12:15 p .m. Monday, Nov. 24.
“Reflections on the 2008 Elections” will feature perspective from the following Rutgers—Camden representatives: Janet Golden, a professor of history and an expert on women’s history and U.S. social history; Keith Green, an assistant professor of English and an expert in African American literature; Mahdi Ibn-Ziyad, a philosophy and religion lecturer; and Leona Pellot, a secretary in the Rutgers—Camden history department and an Obama campaign activist.
Sponsored by the African American Studies Program, the discussion will be held in room 121 in Armitage Hall, located on Fifth Street, between Cooper Street and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Rutgers—Camden campus.
