Rutgers Announces June 12 Open House for Undergraduate, Graduate Programs in Atlantic County
For Immediate Release
CAMDEN -- Individuals who live and work in southern New Jersey shoreline communities may now pursue undergraduate and graduate Rutgers degrees in their region, thanks to an innovative partnership between Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and Atlantic Cape Community College.
An open house for this Rutgers degree program will be held in Building C at Atlantic Cape Community College in Mays Landing from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 12.
Rutgers currently offers seven degree-granting programs at Atlantic Cape Community College’s Atlantic County campuses: bachelor’s programs in criminal justice, general science, liberal studies, political science, psychology, and hospitality management; and the master of business administration (MBA) program. A master’s program in liberal studies will be introduced in spring 2009.
Rutgers also offers education certificate programs to help teachers advance their skills and careers.
All courses will be held during evenings in order to accommodate working professionals and will be taught by Rutgers faculty.
Rutgers’ undergraduate programs appeal to students who have completed an associate’s degree and wish to advance their career by earning a bachelor’s degree. The Rutgers MBA is accredited by the respected AACSB—The International Association for Management Education. The Rutgers bachelor of hospitality management program offers a professional degree for advancement within the growing tourism industry along the New Jersey shoreline.
