Rutgers School of Business Student Receives Scholarship

CAMDEN --  Voorhees resident Ameena Hasan, a marketing major at the Rutgers School of Business–Camden, has received a $10,000 scholarship from the East Division of Quaker, Tropicana, and Gatorade, a division of PepsiCo Inc.

The award supports full-time students with strong grade-point averages and interest in marketing careers.

Hasan, 20, is entering her senior year at the Rutgers School of Business–Camden, where she is a member of the Honors College and will serve as treasurer of the Marketing Association student organization.  She is vice president of new member education in the Rutgers–Camden chapter of the sorority Sigma Delta Tau.

Through the Rutgers–Camden business school internship program, Hasan currently is positioned with Anthropologie, an upscale clothing retailer.  She intends to pursue a career in fashion merchandising and marketing.

A 2006 graduate of Eastern Regional High School, Hasan is the daughter of Mohammad S. Hasan of Voorhees.
