Strike Up the Bands: Rutgers-Camden Noontime Concert Series Continues

CAMDEN – Need a midday boost?  Fill your ears with inspiring live music during Rutgers–Camden’s free concert series on Wednesdays this fall.

Concerts will begin at 12:15 p.m. and will feature soprano Heather Fetrow on Oct. 10; trumpeter Elin Frazier and pianist Elizabeth Boggs on Oct. 17; pianist Molly-Vivian Huang on Oct. 24; pianist John Proulx on Oct. 31; the Copland String Quartet on Nov. 7; percussionist Phillip O’Banion and flutist Megan Emigh on Nov. 14; the Madrigal Ensemble under the direction of Julianne Baird, a distinguished professor of music at Rutgers–Camden, on Nov. 28; the Rutgers University Choir will perform holiday music in the Gordon  Theater on Dec. 5; and the Rutgers–Camden Jazz Ensemble on Dec. 12.

The series, except for the Dec. 5 performance, will take place in the Mallery Room, located on the second floor of the Fine Arts Complex.   The building, which also houses the Gordon Theater, is on Third Street, between Cooper Street and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Rutgers–Camden campus.
