School of Business Dean Search (Sept. 10, 2009)
To the Campus Community:
On Sept. 9, we convened the search committee for a new dean for the School of Business.
The committee will conduct a thorough national search for a highly qualified academic dean who shares our vision and values regarding business education and research within the context of a rapidly evolving global economy. The successful dean candidate also will have a clear understanding of the role of a research university in promoting the business growth and economic development of our host community and state.
We seek to have a new dean in place prior to the start of the 2010-11 academic year. We have charged the committee to search widely to assemble a pool of candidates who reflect the valued diversity of our state and our university. If you have any candidates that you would like to recommend for this critical deanship, please forward their names to Ken Kring of Korn/Ferry.
