Staffing Changes in the Chancellor's Office (July 2, 2009)
To the Campus Community:
As we prepare for Wendell Pritchett's first day as chancellor on Monday, July 6, I would like to announce that Mary Falls has been promoted to executive assistant to the chancellor.
Many of you know Mary from her years of outstanding service to the Division of Student Affairs, most recently serving as administrative assistant to the associate chancellor for student affairs.
I would like to thank Iris Rodriquez for serving as executive assistant to the chancellor during the past two years. When I assumed the role as interim chancellor, Iris agreed to join me in the chancellor's office, while also continuing to provide support to the Faculty of Arts and Sciences dean's office. That she did so with her characteristic dedication and good cheer is a testament to her skill. Iris will join me as we return to the dean's office for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
Please join me in congratulating Mary Falls on her new role, and thanking Iris Rodriguez for a job well done.
Margaret Marsh
Interim Chancellor
