Year-End University Faculty Honors
To the Campus Community:
As the academic year comes to a close, I am pleased to announce that the following members of the Rutgers-Camden faculty have received University honors for demonstrated excellence in teaching, service, and research:
The Rutgers Board of Trustees Award for Excellence in Research will be presented to Dr. Myra Bluebond-Langner (professor II, CFAS-anthropology).
Prof. Gregory Lastowka (professor, CLaw) will receive the Rutgers Board of Trustees Research Fellowship for Scholarly Excellence, while Prof. Allan Espiritu (associate professor, CFAS-fine arts) will receive the Presidential Fellowship for Teaching Excellence. Both Prof. Lastowka and Prof. Espiritu were among a competitive group of select faculty candidates to advance in this year's university-wide promotion and tenure cycle.
The awards will be presented by President Richard L. McCormick during a special ceremony in New Brunswick. They reflect the high standards of excellence achieved by Rutgers-Camden faculty across every academic unit and department on a daily basis.
Please join me in congratulating our colleagues on a job well done.
Margaret Marsh
Interim Chancellor
