The Rutgers–Camden Department of Fine Arts will host the “Eighth Annual Rutgers Holiday Choir Festival” at 12:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4.

The concert, which is free and open to the general public, will be held in the Walter K. Gordon Theater, located in the Fine Arts Complex, on Third Street, between Cooper Street and the Benjamin Franklin Bridge on the Rutgers–Camden campus.

Presented as part of the Mallery Concert Series, the performance will feature the Rutgers University Singers, performing multiple holiday favorites, along with a mash-up of several holiday-themed pieces, under the direction of Julia Zavadsky, a part-time lecturer of music.

In addition, two local high school choirs will be featured in the performance: the Cherry Hill High School West “West Singers,” under the direction of Rachael Siegel, and the Camden Creative Arts High School Choir, under the direction of Suzzette Ortiz.

Zavadsky will conclude the concert with a community sing-along, bringing the audience and performers together for a rendition of Dona Nobis Pacem.

Seating is available on a limited basis. For further information, please contact Maria Buckley in the Department of Fine Arts at 856-225-6176 or maria.buckley@camden.rutgers.edu.
