NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – With Election Day fast approaching, Rutgers’ Eagleton Institute of Politics has posted helpful information for New Jersey voters on its website, NJVoterInfo.org.

The site includes a calendar of important election cycle dates and deadlines, and also links to candidate lists and ballot question information.

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3, with all 80 General Assembly seats up for grabs. “Information about this year’s election has been a little hard to come by,” said Eagleton’s Associate Director John Weingart. “We’ve assembled this list to help remind New Jerseyans that they have an opportunity to vote on Tuesday and to make it easier to find out who’s running at the state, county and local level.”

Eagleton will hold its regular election post-mortem analysis on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at 9:30 am. This year titled, “The Morning After: The Calm Before the Storms of 2016 and 2017,” the program will feature commentary on the 2015 state elections, 2016 presidential race in progress and 2017 New Jersey gubernatorial election. Panelists include Matt Friedman, reporter with Politico’s New Jersey bureau; Gail Gordon, Republican fundraiser and attorney with the firm Florio, Perrucci, Steinhardt & Fader; Julie Roginsky, Democratic political consultant and Fox News contributor; and Jonathan D. Salant, Washington correspondent for NJ Advance Media/the Star-Ledger. The event is free and open to the public but registration is required here
