Logistically Speaking, How is State's Post-Sandy Recovery Going? R/ECON Conference on April 19 Examines Disruptions to Supply Chain, Transportation and Power Infrastructure
WHAT: | Rutgers Economic Advisory Service (R/ECON) semiannual subscriber forecast and conference will provide insight into Hurricane Sandy’s impact on New Jersey’s power infrastructure, on its supply chain and transportation logistics, and state and national economic forecasts. R/ECON is presented by the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The event is free and open to the public. |
WHO: | Ralph LaRossa, president and chief operating officer of PSE&G, will focus on New Jersey’s power infrastructure. Anne Strauss-Wieder is principal of A. Strauss-Wieder Inc., which specializes in distribution and supply chain logistics, leveraging economic development with transportation investment, collaborative involvement, economic impact assessments, and strategy and policy development. Nancy H. Mantell, R/ECON director, will provide New Jersey’s short-term and long-term economic forecasts. University Professor and economist Joseph J. Seneca of the Bloustein School and Dean James W. Hughes will lead a discussion of post-Sandy impacts. |
