To the Campus Community:

The march to an NCAA national title continues for the Rutgers–Camden men’s soccer team, who will host a “Sweet 16” match against York College at the Rutgers–Camden Community Park at 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23.

Our campus will host another NCAA Division III playoff at 7:30 p.m. that day.  On Sunday, Nov. 24, we will host the two winners for an “Elite Eight” match and the right to advance to the NCAA Final Four.

These are remarkable achievements for our campus.  The excitement generated by our men’s soccer team’s extraordinary 20-0-2 season is shared by the entire region, while the selection of Rutgers–Camden as a site for these important competitions underscores our heightened profile.

Tickets for all NCAA tournament games will go on sale no later than one hour before each scheduled start. Ticket prices are $6 for general admission; $3 for students (with ID) and senior citizens, and $2 for children ages 3-12. Courtesy of the Division of Student Affairs, complimentary tickets will be provided for Rutgers–Camden students, faculty, and staff with a Rutgers ID.  Tickets will be available at the Rutgers–Camden Community Park both days.

I hope that you will join me in showcasing our Scarlet Pride for our men’s soccer team, their families, and our guests this weekend.
