To the Campus Community:

After sweeping through the regular season and the NJAC championship with an undefeated record, Rutgers–Camden is ready for the first round of playoffs leading to the NCAA Division III Men’s Soccer Championship.

Our Scarlet Raptors, with a 19-0-2 record, received one of the three first-round byes in the 61-team field.

I am pleased to report that Rutgers–Camden will host a second-round game at the Rutgers–Camden Community Park at 1 p.m. this Sunday, Nov. 17. The Scarlet Raptors will face off against the winner of the first-round matchup between Lycoming College and King’s College.

Tickets for all NCAA tournament games will go on sale no later than one hour before each scheduled start. Ticket prices are $6 for general admission; $3 for students (with ID) and senior citizens, and $2 for children ages 3-12. Courtesy of the Division of Student Affairs, complimentary tickets will be provided for Rutgers–Camden students, faculty, and staff with a Rutgers ID.  Tickets will be available at the Rutgers–Camden Community Park on Sunday.

Across all of our programs, our student-athletes display exceptional skill and focus, both on the field of play and in their studies.  This has been an extraordinary season for our men’s soccer team, and the excitement continues.  I hope you’ll join me on Sunday in cheering our Scarlet Raptors on toward yet another national NCAA title for our campus.  Be sure to wear scarlet!
