Statement from Rutgers University on the Death of Alumna Anita Ashhok Datar
The university community is saddened and horrified by this senseless tragedy in Mali that took so many innocent lives, including the life of a member of the Rutgers family.
Anita Ashok Datar was an outstanding Rutgers graduate with a bright future and a commitment to helping others. We mourn her loss and offer our deepest condolences and support to her family and friends.
